As a parent I know what it`s like to have a house that is full of Childrens Toys. They pop up in all rooms of the home from the lounge to the kitchen. No matter how many times I clear them away more seem to appear as if by magic. I don`t mind really as it brings me so much pleasure to see my daughter playing with her toys. In just two years she has amassed quite a number of Childrens Toys and I often wonder if we can physically fit any more into the house. I am partly to blame for this problem because I just can`t resist buying more toys when they catch my eye. The latest addition to the collection was a wonderful wooden farm set. Not only did it come with a number of buildings but it came with a host of animals as well. Our toddler just loves to play with this set and I`ve lost count of the amount of times that I`ve had to do pig impressions or moo like a cow. The wonderful thing about wooden Childrens Toys like this one is you can see them stimulating your child`s mind and their creative skills as well. Moreover, hours of fun can be had playing with the toys, and that is just for mum and dad.

The toys that we buy for our daughter tend to get split into two categories. There are items which are strictly designed for fun and others that are meant to help develop her key skills. As she has grown we have bought a number of Educational Toys such as puzzles and alphabet blocks. The new toy in her life at the moment is a whale number puzzle that connects together using numbers from one to ten. Forget about any of the other toys that our daughter has because this one seems to beat them all hands down. You can see that her co-ordination skills are being tested and her understanding about how puzzles fit together. Not only this, she will count along with you, as you help her put the puzzle together. Purchasing Educational Toys such as this one is a fabulous idea as you`ll be able to play along with your children and help their skills to develop at the same time. There are a number of toys that can be bought to build up their skills and each one of them is fun to play with. You sometimes forget that the Educational Toys are designed for a reason as they prove to be more popular than normal toys more often than not.

Over the past few years we have bought a number of plastic toys that have proved to be rather disappointing. It seems that they fall apart after only a few weeks and when you consider how much you pay for them in the first place, they tend to be hardly worth the money. Give me magical Wooden Toys any day as I know they will last forever. I`m the proud dad of a little girl and she adores playing with her Wooden Toys. We bought her a clock recently that had wooden shapes as numerals. The clock is to familiarise her with the time but she tends to just put the shapes into any order that she likes. It always amazes me when I see our toddler playing with her Wooden Toys. It`s almost as if I`m transported back in time to when I was a young child. I had all sorts of toys when I was a nipper and a great deal of them tended to be of the wooden variety. I seem to remember a large train set that I used to adore that trundled along upon a wooden track. If I had my choice I`d never buy plastic toys for our daughter I`d always opt for Wooden Toys instead.
